Willett Public Affairs is proud to congratulate our client Lyndhurst on its October 15 celebration honoring New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins for her longstanding support of the historic Tarrytown estate.
More than 40 donors and supporters gathered in Lyndhurst’s Rose Garden to recognize the Majority Leader’s role in securing state funding for critical infrastructure projects across the 67-acre property. Willett was honored to assist Lyndhurst in securing much of this funding from Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins.
These investments have supported the installation of air conditioning in the mansion and other buildings, the repaving of Lyndhurst’s historic entrance drive, repairs to the North and South Verandas, window restoration, a new roof for the Bowling Alley building, and upgrades to the estate’s electrical and water infrastructure. The improvements have helped protect Lyndhurst’s historic buildings and collections while expanding public access and supporting tourism in Westchester County.
Lyndhurst will install a permanent plaque in its Rose and Perennial Garden in recognition of Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins’ continued commitment to the estate’s preservation and restoration.
We congratulate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins and the Lyndhurst team on this well-deserved celebration. Willett is proud to work alongside Lyndhurst and Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins to support historic preservation and strengthen arts and culture in Westchester County and New York State.
