Willett Public Affairs is pleased to announce that veteran Westchester political strategist and lobbyist Arnold Linhardt has joined the firm, effective January 1, 2023, as senior advisor. “With Westchester’s growing economy, Willett was seeking to acquire a Hudson Valley lobbying practice that could complement and contribute to our continued growth,” said Perry Ochacher, president of Willett Public Affairs. “Our objective was also to broaden our reach into the non-profit and public interest sectors, particularly for lobbying services related to grants and funding from federal, state, and local government. This is an area in which Arnie excels; his joining Willett provides our clients with access to a respected strategist that can help navigate the complex process of obtaining government funding or grants to move their projects forward.”
Arnold Linhardt has over 45 years' experience in the government and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Willett, he founded the Westchester-based political consulting and lobbying firm Strategic Services Inc., where he successfully advised and managed countless local political campaigns and effectively guided numerous area businesses and Westchester non-profits. Prior to establishing Strategic Services, Arnie was chief of staff to former New York Congressman Eliot Engel. Linhardt has also served as the public affairs director of two New York State public benefit corporations and the director of operations for a major non-profit.
Linhardt has worked on and managed numerous federal, state and local political campaigns. He is a long-standing member of the American Association of Political Consultants and the American Political Science Association. He is currently an adjunct professor at Fordham University and has taught as an adjunct professor in government at Baruch, Lehman, Manhattanville and Mercy colleges.
