Willett Public Affairs congratulates our client, the Lyndhurst Mansion, on being awarded a $750k Save America's Treasures grant from The National Park Service (NPS), in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
This funding will support restoration for Lyndhurst's swimming pool building, one of 58 projects in 26 states awarded these grants from the Historic Preservation Fund. “These grants preserve and conserve nationally significant properties and collections to tell a more complete story of America and its people,” said NPS Director Chuck Sams.
Positioned on a 67-acre estate overlooking the Hudson River in Tarrytown, the historic Lyndhurst Mansion is considered to be one of America’s finest examples of Gothic architecture.
Willett is proud to represent a property of such architectural and historical significance in Westchester. Congratulations to the Lyndhurst team!
