Willett Public Affairs Secures $50K in State Grant Funding for Client Hudson River Museum

Willett Public Affairs client Hudson River Museum (HRM) recently received $50,000 from NY Assembly members Dana Levenberg and Nader Sayegh, Assembly District 95, and 90, respectively.

Through its advocacy Willett Public Affairs, representing Hudson River Museum, helped secure these crucial state grant funds. The funding will go to the planetarium and STEAM programs at the museum, supporting educational and sustainability initiatives. HRM's planetarium is the only public planetarium in Westchester, and draws crowds from all over the state. It also serves as an educational space for students K-12 in surrounding areas, allowing the continuation of STEAM opportunities for youth and university students interested in astronomy.

HRM CEO and Director Masha Turchinsky is grateful to Willett and the Assembly members for their support in helping to enhance educational experiences and opportunities at HRM. Both Assembly members spoke about the importance of this funding for the greater good of Westchester County and the region, with Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg even expressing a personal connection to HRM in how she brought her children there as kids. Willett Public Affairs played a key role in securing these grants, and is very proud to have contributed to HRM's continued educational programs and opportunities.

Congratulations to the HRM board, and everyone  who will utilize and enjoy the planetarium's unique services and programs in the future!
