Willett Public Affairs welcomes Diane Barrett to the firm in her role as Healthcare Policy Senior Advisor, starting November 1. Diane began her professional career in the NYS Legislature where she served as chief of staff to a senior member of the Assembly. From there, she focused on healthcare policy as the Senior Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at the Continuing Care Leadership Coalition (CCLC). At CCLC, Diane was able to form effective coalitions, significantly influence state legislation and thereby help shape the future of healthcare policy in New York. After CCLC, Diane served as the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs at ArchCare, a nonprofit, long-term care provider, advising and leading the company on matters related to public health policy. Diane has also taught public policy and healthcare administration at the City University of New York, and is currently teaching healthcare policy and service delivery as a professor at the New York City College of Technology.
"Diane is a recognized leader in healthcare policy in New York," said Willett President Perry M. Ochacher. "We look forward to working with her and taping into her expertise in this area for our healthcare clients." Diane Barret said, "I am looking forward to working with the Willett Public Affairs team and supporting its exciting and growing roster of clients."
We are excited to have Diane on the team, and look forward to future accomplishments together. Welcome, Diane!
